About This Resource:
The County Line Lutheran Cemetery of Whitley County, Indiana is located
on State Road 114, at the junction of State Roads 114 and 5. It is just
west of the corner, called Luther (formerly called Sawdust Hill), about
6 miles south of South Whitley, Indiana. The Lutheran Church, built in
the southeastern part of Cleveland Township, in the year 1839 was
probably the first church edifice erected in this section of the county.
The Church was organized in 1840 with a membership of ten persons. It
can be found by the following legal description: S36 T30N R8E
