Join The Genealogy Center in February for the observance of Black History Month! We begin the month by inviting the community to enjoy Heartland Sings: We Are The Dream, A Musical Commemoration to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on Sunday, February 19, 2017, at 2:00 p.m. in the Main Library Theater. Prior to and following the musical, visit our Life Stories Center to record your personal memories of the “I Have a Dream” speech. The Life Stories Center will be open noon to 5:00 p.m. that day. Presentations on African American genealogy also will be offered during the month.

Part of Black History Month.
